Services
Most of us need support when facing serious illness, caring for a loved one through medical challenges, or coping with grief and palliative care and end-of-life decisions.
I provide one-on-one counselling and healthcare navigation support to help address the emotional impact of these experiences and the practical realities involved.
My practice focuses on serious or terminal illness, caregiving stress, end-of-life and palliative care concerns, exploration of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), and grief and bereavement.
Sessions are tailored to individual needs with a focus on emotional support, practical decision-making, or both.
Counselling support for serious illness, caregiving and grief
Counselling sessions focus on the emotional impact of serious illness, caregiving, palliative care experiences, and loss. A supportive space is provided to process feelings, reflect on difficult experiences, and find ways to cope during uncertain or overwhelming times.
Support can focus on:
- Experiencing grief and bereavement
- Anticipatory grief in the context of serious or terminal illness
- Living with serious or terminal illness or receiving palliative care
- The emotional impact of caregiving and caregiver stress
- Family dynamics, relationship changes, and communication challenges
- End-of-life and palliative care concerns, including emotional preparation
